Christmas '08

It was a wonderful Christmas Day! The kids enjoyed all their presents and so did Dale and I. The most important thing was that we were all together!!!Andrew's note to Santa. She is starting at an early age, shoe obsession...Thanks Mom for being her enabler.Grandpa Steve bought her the babydoll set which she plays with nonstop.I call this the "now which key starts this thing" picture.Glam Girl!Andrew finally got his own digital camwa!!! Thank you Grandpa!!!I just realized those books are upside-down.I think we should have told Santa this kitchen was for all three kids:)

Christmas Eve

Our family tradition on Christmas eve is to eat lasagna, open one present (usually pajamas from Grandma Nancy), then make cookies for Santa, and watch a Christmas movie as the kids try to settle down for the night. Andrew and Alyssa made peanut butter cookies for Santa...I mixed the batter and they formed the cookies into little balls. Then Andrew wanted to write Santa a note thanking him for his helicopter, which he was so sure Santa was getting him. Little did he know, Codi bought him the helicopter and Santa brought him a Spiderman bike. Alyssa got a car from Santa that took him an hour to put together and they both received a kitchen set, which took Santa 2 hours to put together.

Ruth and Phillip Gletty

We left my sister-in-laws house and went down to southern Alabama to visit Andrew and Alyssa's namesakes...their Great Grandparents. It was a short visit, but it was nice for Dale since he hadn't seen them for many years and they had never met Alyssa.Alyssa wasn't in any of the pictures because she wasn't cooperating very well.

Christmas '08

The weekend before Christmas Dale, Andrew, Alyssa and I went to Blountsville Alabama to visit Dale's sister and her kids, Dale's Dad, and his two uncles. When the kids all get together they always have a blast.
